I decided the previous video could do with some improvements! This version now has a small route programmed for the camera to get rid of the jerky movement from the previous video. This video is also HD – in 1080p @ 48 fps as opposed to the previous 480p video.
This video also introduces the rendering of polylines from open street map to the environment i.e. roads, railway and streams/rivers. These are simply being represented using the GL_LINE primitive but will eventually be triangulated. The
Drawing these line based elements makes such a big difference to the final output – despite the fact that these are being drawn in such a simple form.
